For Mozart: Rise of a Genius, Finishing Artist Dan Garden worked closely with director of photography Duane McClunie and series director Alice Smith to bring their ambitious vision to life. Dan’s approach centred around a film emulation workflow, where he added texture and character to the otherwise pristine digital rushes. This blend of period authenticity with modern creative flair helped to depict Mozart in all his larger-than-life brilliance.

We’ve pulled together a little highlight reel that showcases just a few of the projects we were proud to be part of in 2025.

At The Finish Line, we are all about delivering the best images possible and the key to doing this is our approach; having incredible Finishing Artists who take full ownership of picture from a finished conform right through to the final review. Client: October Films Talent: A team effort with help from Ben Lee, Dave Stephenson, Steve Alexander & Katie Kemp Brief: A fast turnaround grade and online of a 4 x 60 minute series for Channel 5. Michael Buerk travels the length and breadth of Britain to find out How the Victorians Built Britain. Along the way he uncovers the incredible and surprising stories behind iconic landmarks, discovers the hidden heroes behind epic constructions and finds out how the incredible advances made by the Victorians forged the world we live in today.

Client: World Media Rights Talent: Grade and Online by Luke Dabbs & Jean-Paul Vial Brief: Complete the grade and online of a 6 x 60 minute series which uncovers the true stories upon which some of the most famous, Oscar®-nominated movies of recent years were based, including Goodfellas, Zero Dark Thirty and The Social Network.

Client: Twenty Twenty Talent: Grade and Online by David Grewal Brief: Complete the grade and online of a 6 x 60-mins series set in a four-star hotel with a Michelin-starred restaurant in southern Italy for Channel 4.  Maître d’ Fred takes a break from the show’s restaurant to take over the running of a luxury hotel where he will welcome singletons from the UK on a two-day dating stay.

Client: Boundless Productions Talent: Grade and Online by Steve Alexander Brief: Complete the grade and online of a 4 x 60-mins series presented by Kevin McCloud for Channel 4.  The series explored some of Britain’s most contemporary and cutting edge homes, revealing how they were built and why they are considered some of the best new architecture in the country. Featuring jaw-dropping property from Jersey to Scotland. 

Client: Twenty Twenty Talent: Grade and Online by Steve Alexander Brief: Complete the grade and online for a 4 x 60-mins series using a combination of first hand testimony, archive film and documents. Each individual film discovers the story of different residents of a single house in Liverpool, from the first owner to the present day.
