Giving us an Avid Media Composer Project for Delivery

Giving us an Avid Media Composer Project for Delivery

If you are sending a finished programme to us for delivery from Media Composer and we are going to carry out any QC fixes please follow these steps.

Create a new bin with your programme number and logical name

Duplicate your finished sequence into this bin and name it the same but with the date of completion on the end.

Open that timeline and create a Video Mixdown.

Save it to the same bin and to a logical place on your storage in DNxHD 185X or DNxHR HQX.

Put that on a new video layer above all other video layers then complete a consolidation.

Consolidate to a clean drive with 12 frame handles. This will then provide us with everything we need should be need to step in to the source files for any last minute changes or fixes.

Once the consolidation is complete save the bin and make a copy of it to the drive that you are delivering to us.
