Giving us a FCPX Project

This is a basic guide on how to get your FCPX Project over to us for Final Post

We would use a combination of Worx4X and X2Pro to get FCPX projects into Final Post but to keep things simple this is the best way to get your project to us.

• Select your Project

• Create a Video and Audio reference file with File > Send To Compressor

• In Compressor click the + to Add Outputs

• Choose the preset Video Sharing Services > HD 720p and click OK

• In the inspector show the video tab and scroll down to Add Video Effect and choose Timecode Generator. Use the below settings

• Set the location of the export to the Drive you will be sending us and click Start Batch

• Back in FCPX again, select your Project

• Select File > Copy Project to Library > New Library

• Set the destination to the external Hard Drive you will be giving us and name it appropriately including the date of the export.

• Include Optimised Media and Ignore Proxy Media and click OK
